A Scottish /writer /producer currently living in London after many years in New York.
Past credits include working with producers: Reggie Lucas (Madonna, Gladys Knight, Miles Davies), Bob Brockman (P Diddy, Grand Master Flash), Elliot Randall (Steely Dan), Carlos Alomar (David Bowie), Richard Gottera (Blondie), Graham Hawthorne (Paul Simon), Frank Farian (Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, Barclay James Harvest), and was a member of the ‘Far Corporation’ which included several members of ‘multi-platinum US rockband Toto’
Signed with Geffen Records with his own band ‘Roo-Ha Ha’ then went on to work with French artist Christine Lidon on Arista Records. Also worked alongside James Brown (appearing in cameo role on video for ‘I’m Real’ ) at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Performed alongside Robert Palmer, Midge Ure, Marillion and many others.
His last project in New York ‘Big Stupid guitars’ received rave reviews in various newspapers including Dan Aquilente’s album of the month column in the New York Post with the debut album ‘Crack’.
Worked for David Horowitz Associates in New York. (One of the foremost Jingles houses on the East Coast) on Session Guitar and Vocals.
Co-wrote Liz Taylor’s perfume ad “Passion For Men” which broadcast on national TV across US.
Wrote and produced ‘What Are You Made Of’ song for Tag Heuer
(in-house corporate broadcast in Switzerland).
Has co-written and produced songs with writers, Scott English (Westlife / Barry Manilow), Kenny Young (The Drifters), Lisa Greene (Brittney Spears / Kylie),
Ray St John (Sade), Simon Tauber (Atomic Kitten) and many more.
Currently writing and producing UK girlband ‘The Roslins’ and writing music for TV, movies and advertising.
